This Rakesh Kumar directorial revolves around a young boy Natwar essayed by Amitabh Bachchan who sets out on a mission to avenge the tragedy of his beloved older brother who was falsely accused of phony extortion charges by sinister mastermind Vikram (Amjad Khan).

On growing up, Natwar creates an alternate identity of a powerful and mysterious underworld don named Mr. Natwarlal to avenge his brother and teach the seedy group of criminals a lesson.
