Mehdi Hasan World Famous Ghazal singer,Born in India,migrated to Pak, was Pride of India Subcontinent He got recognition in 1957 on Radio Pak as Thumri Singer,from where his successful journey started 😀Ghazal "Ranjish Hi Sahi sung by Mehdi with classical inputs Immortalised him. His Ghazal prog were organized all over World.HMV released his album ‘Sarhaden’, in which he sang Duet with Lata for 1st & last time. Mehdi Hassan sang 54000 Ghazals,Geet & Thumri. He was honored with many awards like : ‘Tamga-e-Imtiaz’, Pride of Performance’, ‘Hilal-e-Imtiaz’ Govt of India honored him with ‘Sehgal Award’ in 1979.He died on 13 June 2012 at age 84 in Karachi, Sindh,Pak🎉 Proud of.
