A Blissful Take on Marriage & Romance!

The hilarious web series called Ani Kay Hawa with Priya Bapat and Umesh Kamat, a real-life couple too, reprising their roles as Jui and Saket, is now poised for yet another entertaining season.

The slice-of-life drama series will stream on MX Player from August 6th. While the original version has been made in Marathi, it has also been dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Season 1 of this gripping series saw the couple celebrate the many firsts of holy matrimony while the second season saw Jui and Saket navigate different emotions as they celebrate their third anniversary.

The latest season 3 will see their five year old marriage hit the 5-year mark with trust, love and a little madness at its core and also show their lives during a nationwide lockdown.

From dealing with work related complications, to suddenly feeling like there is nothing new to talk about and bringing to life the little and big daily nuances of their day to day life, this cute couple brings out the routine lives of all the couples in general.

The current third season is a beautiful take on modern relationships and certain aspects of the same are redefined as a by-product of the lockdown.

Jui and Saket have lived the graph of the honeymoon phase and also cemented their bond and at the onset of 5 years in the marriage, they continue to keep the spark alive and navigate through the course of their lives.

The series which has six episodes, each of 23 minutes duration sets out to drive home the poignant but simple at the same time message that for a successful marriage, there has to be good communication and companionship in the relationship and it is also equally important to try to understand your partner.

The fun banter between this couple and supporting each other through our problems mirrors the relationship of the cheerful couple who are husband and wife off screen too in real life.

The director Varun Narvekar, who had earlier made his debut in films with the Marathi film Muramba deserves kudos for tackling a delicate and sensitive subject like this in a very interesting manner without boring the viewers episode after episode right from Episode 1 to Episode 3.

Kudos to Varun Narvekar for not only writing the screenplay and penning the dialogues but also directing the web series deftly, especially the adult content in the latest season where the couple talk of sanitary napkins and menstrual cups in a matter of fact casual manner

As far as performances are concerned, Umesh Kamat and Priya Bapat fit in their parts perfectly and complement each other perfectly, making it a delight for the viewers to indulge in their mercurial moods and buoyant mannerisms.

The dialogues make you feel that you are very close to the couple and can easily feel for them and take part in their sad as well as joyous moments, never mind the fact that the plot is not cohesive and wanders from one subject to another and on more than one occasion, the web series even starts plugging in Saraswat Bank which is one of its sponsors quite blatantly
