The interesting plot of the film is based on how things get complicated when a well to do family gets a jolt when their only son Babloo (Sharman Joshi) gets married with great pomp and show to a beautiful girl Swati (Tejashri Pradhan) after he fails to impress another girl Avantika (Pooja Chopra) who confesses to him that she is not a virgin and has had five boyfriends, but the bride runs away to Mumbai to be the face of a reality show called Swati Ka Swayamvar on the first night itself to pursue her ambition in show business, after she writes a letter to him on whatsapp.

Sharman tries everything to reach his wife, goes from Lucknow to Mumbai where, by chance, he again bumps into Avantika who was the creative head of a channel.

Avantika promises to help him get his wife back but strangely when finally Swati comes back to him, Babloo falls in love with Avantika, impressed by her efforts to bring Swati back.

What I liked the best about the film is the story, screenplay as well as dialogues by Saurabh Pandey, who drives home the interesting message of how fickle relationships are today and how the youth does not grab the opportunity when it is doled out on a platter to them and how they pine for it after they lose the golden opportunity.

It is perhaps for the first time that a director has set out to tackle deftly a plot were a would be bride casually mentions to her would be bridegroom that she has had five boyfriends earlier and by any stretch of imagination, she is not a virgin at all to the shock of the groom who confesses to her that he is a virgin yet.

As far as performances go, while Sharman Joshi scores with his latent talent and succeeds in proving that he is indeed a powerhouse of talent, it is Pooja Chopra who walks away with all the accolades, defying the prevalent myth that good looking beautiful girls just cannot emote at all.

The way she carries her role is just impeccable. Tejashri Pradhan, who is a well known actress of Marathi films, makes a debut in Hindi films with this film and all that I can say is that Tejashri is sweet and makes her screen presence felt very well though her role has not been etched properly on paper at all.

Rajesh Sharma as Babloo’s father is just superlative while Raju Kher as Prabhat and Sweety Walia as Babloo’s aunt are just about okay.

Sumeet Gulati as Babloo’s friend and sidekick and Asrani as the marriage broker elicit laughter. Puneet Vashisht has hardly any role and has been wasted.

The USP of the film are brilliant photography by director Agnidev Chatterjee himself and melodious and catchy music by Jeet Ganguly which elevate the film to greater heights.
