Review “Ghoomer“-A film of hope and triumph will surely spin and win both your hearts and minds

Story: A sports drama about a cricketer who rises up courageously after losing her right hand  and plays  the game with her left, efficiently spinning the ball and batting. Without an iota of doubt all this is possible to do because that fire is ignited within her by her coach played by none other than Abhishek Bachchan(A frustrated and failed cricketer) How he tries to bring back that passion and interest in the game by giving her all the tedious jobs to do. This coach shows no sympathy towards this girl but treats her just like any other individual who enjoys having all her body parts in place. This shrewd attitude of this coach brings back that lost love for cricket and her life which seemed to have lost owing to that loss of her right hand in an accident. How she rises back attaining that sky rising compliments playing in the women's national team forms the crux of this wonderful heart wrenching saga.

Direction R.Balki needs no introduction with each film audiences expectations rise high as he has given a bouquet of excellently directed films like ... Cheeni Kum,Paa...Chup. Balki’s Ghoomer breaks the prototype to give you an influential tale of human pliability through cricket.

 Performances: Abhishek Bachchan's exuberant performance as that shrewd and alcoholic coach deserves a pat on his back. After Guru this is his best performance. His sky rising acting skills not only resonates with his character but will pour oodles of heartfelt love for his performances. Saiyami Kher’s physic matched a cricketer to the T.With this honest and sincere performance she proves to ably fit in this sport drama. The other supportive cast have aptly supported in uplifting this heart wrenching saga of hope and triumph.

Screenplay.. A well written script and a tight screenplay effortlessly connect with every character.

Dialogues: Simply create magic over logic, so true to the dialogue that Abhishek has mouthed in the film.

Editing A fast paced editing keeps the audiences on the edge of their seats. Also keeps everyone glued to the screen not allowing them to even blink their eyes at all.

Cinematography: Capturing beautiful natural locales enhances a soothing sight to the eyes.

Music Apt background music and  the  title song adds to  uplifting the emotions of the audiences as well.

A film never to be missed....can be watched innumerable times.
