For the third time Pati, Patni Aur Woh strikes again but this time with the cast of Anant Vidhaat, Riya Sen, and Vinny Arora, making things crazier with a supernatural and spooky twist added in the weak, insipid and what’s more half baked plot! This quirky drama is on view on the OTT platform MX Player.

This 10 episodic MX Original Series is a partly entertaining story of a husband whose wife has passed away, but the catch is that her soul is stuck in this world. Her ultimate wish is to see her husband remarried, but plans go awry when he actually happens to find 'the new wife and is jealous of her beauty. Mohan’s wife Surabhi (Vinny Arora) dies and her ghost is stuck in the world because she is worried about Mohan (Anant Vidhaat).

Surabhi forces Mohan to get married again before her last rites on the 13th day. The short notice leaves Mohan end up with only one option, to marry Rimjhim (Riya Sen) whose father refuses to show her face due to some astrological reasons. Mohan takes the risk of marrying her without seeing her. Rimjhim falls in love with Mohan’s simple nature. Riya Sen plays the role of the loving wife of a man who has to deal with the ghost of his dead wife

Surabhi is very happy until she sees the beautiful Rimjhim during the first night. Rimhjim is a stunningly sexy woman to boot. However, to the chagrin of Mohan, looking at a love-struck Mohan, Surabhi’s soul gets jealous and Mohan gets stuck between a hot loving wife and the jealous ghost of his dead wife and hence begins the unusual eerie journey of the couple.

Anant Vidhaat shows promise and straddles between the extremes in his character with effortless ease. Vinny Arora plays the gorgeous role of the deceased wife Surabhi. She is the ghost and dons the role effortlessly and is so sweet to watch on screen. With well-controlled emotions and dialogue delivery, she captures the hearts of the audience easily in a jiffy while Riya Sen fits in her part as the innocent new wife who is besotted with her simpleton husband. As his sidekick friend 3G, Saksham Shukla is terrific while Jaspal Sharma elicits chuckles as the brother in law of Mohan.

As the director, Nisheeth Neerav Neelkant finds it difficult to strike the right balance between the logic and realism in his ghost story, which lacks the right drama and oscillates between fact and fiction and makes you lose interest in the plot halfway through and opt for slumber without any other alternative.

To sum up, this web series is a light entertainer but if you set out in search of a great thriller or a comedy, it will leave you just gasping for the right blend
