RGV’s ‘12 O’Clock’ horror-scare at midnight on Dec 31st

Known for his controversial bohemian tweets and bold maverick movies, fiery film-maker Ram Gopal Varma will unveil the trailer of his return-to-Bollywood horror movie titled ’12 o’clock’ at midnight zero-hour on 31st Dec 2020.  Informs RGV, “ Our slick multi-starrer movie ’12 o’clock which we shot with maximum sanitized precautions was filmed  within 40 days, across Mumbai and Hyderabad. By Chaitanya  Padukone

It will release on Friday January 8^th 2021 With my past experience of having made several scare-fare movies like ‘Bhoot’, ‘Raat’  ‘Darna Zaroori Hai ‘, I have observed that such movies work more effectively on a psychological level.

The audiences need to be mentally stimulated and their wild imagination has to run riot,” smiles ‘star-maker’ director Ram Gopal Varma. The movie which features Mithun Chakraborty, Makarand Deshpandey, Divya Jagdale, Manav Kaul, Ali Asgar, Ashish Vidyarthi, Dalip Tahil, Flora Saini, and debutant Krshna Gautam is expected to set a new benchmark in the horror genre according to cine-trade experts. Incidentally 62 years ago, legendary film-maker G P Sippy had produced a movie titled  ‘12 o’clock’ ( 1958) which was a murder-mystery crime-thriller starring the iconic screen-pair Guru Dutt and Waheeda Rehman.
