Rhea Sharma’s Look And Character Inspired By Deepika Padukone From Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Star Plus’ upcoming show, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke is a much awaited spin-off of the channel’s longest running show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Bringing to audiences a progressive take on relationships, marriage and family ties, the show will revolve around Mishti’s thought of decision-making on choosing her life partner. Little does anyone know that her look and character is inspired by Deepika Padukone from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

The actress revealed, “I absolutely love Deepika Padukone. She is known for her versatility, beauty and has an understated aura in whatever she pulls off. I feel lucky to be portraying a character that is inspired by her. Her character in the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, that of Naina is quite similar to Mishti. Mishti is a reserved yet street-smart girl just like Naina.  Her look is very simple and wears glasses which bears a striking resemblance to Deepika’s character in the movie. I am really excited to see audiences’ reactions to my brand new avatar on television and who better than Deepika to be inspired by.”

The show promises a unique and refreshing storyline with some interesting characters and viewers are in for a riveting watch as the show progresses.
