Celebrating the evergreen actor Dharmendra this weekend, Sony Entertainment Television's talent reality show India's Got Talent is all set to honour his life and career with the 'Dharam Ji Special' episode! Viewers are in for moments of fun, nostalgia and entertainment in the presence of Dharam Ji - Jyothi Venkatesh
Making the episode memorable for him, contestant Rishabh Chaturvedi from Amritsar will perform on the classic romantic songs visualised on Dharam ji - 'Aaj Mausam Bada Beimaan Hai' and 'Na Ja Kahin Ab Na Jaa'.
Rishabh has always impressed the judges – Kirron Kher, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Badshah and Manoj Muntashir with his soulful voice but this time, he will also capture Dharam Ji’s attention. Appreciating his performance, Badshah says, "You are a blessed singer and it's a gift."
Seeing Badshah, Shilpa Shetty Kundra too got extremely emotional and said, "My dad loved this song and it reminded me of him listening to you." Dharam ji too shared a fun memory saying that he used to purposely sing this song in actor Sharmila Tagore's ears just to irritate her while filming.
Not only this, Shilpa also recollects memories of when she shot with Dharmendra for the movie 'Apne' and reveals how the last scene of the movie was an emotional moment for everyone present.
It was a scene where Dharam ji, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol had to hug. Even after the director said, “Cut,” they didn’t let go of each other and cried for nearly 5 minutes. She further goes on to say that Dharam ji is the purest soul she has ever worked with.
With the stardom that he has seen, no actor of this generation will be able to experience the same. Judge Kirron Kher also shares some fun moments she experienced with Dharam ji making the banter even more interesting.
Tune in to the ‘Dharam Ji Special’ episode on India’s Got Talent, this Saturday & Sunday at 8:00 PM on Sony Entertainment Television!
