“I don’t know who these people are who don’t play sports. Everyone, at least in my family, is into sports. Even my brother, who is so busy with film direction, takes out time with his team to play cricket, football. Sport is an integral part of a person's life. Even my daughter has won best athlete awards back-to-back, for 4 consecutive years now. So it runs in our family,” she says.
The actor encourages everyone to indulge in at least one sport for a healthy mind and body. “I think it’s very important for everyone to play a sport. Everyone should not only restrict themselves to the gym, but also play a sport, do yoga, because it really broadens your thought process in a certain way,” she adds.
Spots help us to master the craft of multitasking. “But I feel that only sticking to one way to fitness is to start playing at least one sport. It may not be possible everyday but it should be done on weekends at least,” she says.
