Ritu Shivpuri enters COLORS’ VISH as Rudrama

COLORS’ supernatural fantasy drama Vish, is sprucing up the drama with the entrants of new characters. After introducing Makdeena (Puja Bannerjee), the show will have a new character, named Rudrama played by Bollywood actress Ritu Shivpuri. Rudrama will bring in a major twist to the in the storyline as the show will also witness a leap of a month. The actress who's beauty lights up screens is all geared up to essay an unconventional character of Rudrama.

As per the current story track, Rudrama will be Aliya’s (Sana Makbul Khan) mentor and a challenger to Sabrina (Debina Bonnerjee) and Aditya (Vishal Vashishtha). In the upcoming episode, the audience will see that Aditya has finally been poisoned by Sabrina. Aliya is at her wit's end to save her love and she comes across Rudrama. She is a practitioner of old medicine and deals with traditional herbs and has a powerful aura.  She will eventually help Alia to fight Sabrina and get her love Aditya back.

Commenting on her character Ritu Shivpuri she said, “Rudrama is a key player to add to the trio in Vish, Sabrina, Aliya, and Aditya. She is a very strong, positive and powerful character. She believes in herself and the power she possesses. My look in the show is extremely glamorous and modern. I was extremely confident that I could play Rudrama well and also because the concept of a supernatural thriller is enticing. This is the second time I'm associating with COLORS and my experience has always been good, so I'm looking forward to this new endeavor. I'm hoping viewers will like my new character and give me all their love and support."
