ROBERT F. KENNEDY BIOPIC STARRING MATT DAMON FINDS IT'S DIRECTOR

Matt Damon had been roped in to portray the role of Robert F. Kennedy in 2010. However, due to one or the other controversy, things hadn't been working out. Now, seven years later, we finally have confirmation that the biopic is happening. Nikolaj Arcel of The Dark Tower fame has been chosen to direct the much-awaited film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Arcel wrote the script for RKF keeping Matt Damon in mind, along side Rasmus Heisterberg and Filepe Marino.

Robert F Kennedy was shot dead at the Los Angeles Ambassador Hotel on June 5, 1968 by Sirhan Sirhan as the senator was celebrating his win for the Democratic Nomination for the U.S president.

Production on the film is set to begin early next year and it will be produced by Jennifer Todd, Damon, and Drew Winton through Pearl Street Films.
