Talking about the star cast of this movie, it has Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are in the main lead. The Storyline

Now if we talk about the story of the film, then it is a love story which is in between two cultures. Alia Bhatt (Rani) is Bengali in the film and Ranveer Singh (Rocky) is Punjabi, both of these cultures are very different. Alia and Ranveer try to adjust in each other's family. Alia and Ranveer take a decision that for 3 months Alia will stay at Ranveer's (Rocky) house and Ranveer will stay at Alia's (Rani) house so that each other can win the family's heart. Now there is not one but two love stories in this film and that too is a surprise for you guys. In this, Ranveer Singh is very funny as well as emotional and Ranveer's role is the best in the whole film. Alia's role is also good but not according to Ranveer, Alia Bhatt is a journalist and feminist in the movie. On the other hand, if we talk about Jaya Bachchan's role, then her role is that of Ranveer i.e. Rocky's grandmother and she is very angry and arrogant. Shabana Azmi's role is very cute and Shabana Azmi has played the role of Alia Bhatt i.e. Rani's grandmother in the film. Dharmendra ji's role is that of Ranveer's grandfather in the film and he is not looking very good in this role. Both the cultures have been shown in a very cute way in the film. In the film, the celebration of Durga Puja has been shown very beautifully and the marriage of Punjabi’s has also been shown with great fanfare. Both are not able to marry because of their respective cultures and the entire film is based on this, and the movie also has a very good social message.

The film has many songs but the song which are the best are “tum kya mile”, “what jhumkaa” and “dhindhora baaje re”.
