Rohit Raut’s Heartwarming Story Makes Bhumi Pednekar And Neha Kakkar Emotional !

Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol ‘Season 11’ has already made it big impressing all. The star-studded judge panel includes acclaimed names like Anu Mallik, Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani. This year’s theme of Indian Idol ‘EK Desh EK Awaaz’ is breaking all stereotypes and celebrates diversity in its true sense. This week, the highly anticipated movie trio- Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey visited the Indian Idol sets to support the contestants. This week’s theme was #ThankyouMaa , all the performances given by the contestants were dedicated to their mothers.

Rohit  Raut gave soul fulfilling performance on the song “Lukka Chuppi” from the movie Rang De Basanti. Before his performance he narrated a poem where he told that his father has not only played the part of father but has also been his mother. He told his mother passed away when he was  and  since then his father has been taking care of him and younger brother then. Rohit told that when he was young  there were many crises which his family was going through but his father was the one who taught them to be strong and know he wants to do everything for his father taught them  His performance made Bhumi Pednekar very emotional as she couldn’t control her tears . Not only that even Neha Kakkar also got very emotional , she especially came on the stage as well to hug Rohit as he got very emotional after his performance.

Further in the show Bhumi told that her father passed away when she was young  and since then her mother has been the backbone of her family .She mentioned how much change she has seen in her after her father’s demise. She became more strong as she knew she needs to handle the family. She also mentioned whatever she is its because of her mother.

Neha was overwhelmed by Rohit’s performance and said to his father that she has huge  respect for him as he played the part of his mother and after so well and he is raised such a nice boy. Neha for Rohit’s performance said “ You are great performer and with every performance you are just making the competition more tough”
