ROHIT SHETTY AND KARAN JOHAR SIGN SARA ALI KHAN OPPOSITE RANVEER SINGH FOR SIMMBA

Sara Ali Khan is the newbie in B-Town, but the lady has managed to garner two big films. Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan's daughter, Sara Ali Khan is currently busy with Abhishek Kapoor's romantic movie, Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.

Now, the up-coming actress is signed by Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar to play the lead in Simmba and romance Ranveer Singh in the cop-drama.

Karan Johar took to his social media account to announce the news. Karan posted a picture with caption: "Sara Ali Khan in #Simmba with @ranveersingh directed by @itsrohitshetty!!! Exciting times!! Releasing on the 28th of December 2018!! This winter gets hotter!"

The movie is slated to release on December 28 this year.
