While he doesn’t relate to him much, actor Saanand Verma says that his character in his play Dil Abhi Bhara Nahin is so endearing that it’s easy to like him. He says that he got a lot of inspiration from his surroundings as the character is very relatable.
“I haven't played a character like this for a long time and also I've never done any commercial in my life. So I was offered Sanjay Jha's play. It is very well written play by Sanjay ji. My character is very good and has many layers. There is a suspense angle as well. I can't tell anything about that character. But I fell in love with that character and my heart got attached to it,” he says.

He adds, “My character is very relatable but ironically, I don't relate to him personally. But my character is very relevant in today's times. My character is one who has a lot of affairs and then there is a revelation towards the end of the play, which is very touching and very sweet. He has a humorous side as well.”
"Dil Abhi Bhara Nahin" deals with the themes of true love which is hard to find in this virtual world. Talking about the storyline, he says, “I always think about the real situations. There are lot of people like my character Jimmy. I always observe people's behaviour and this time it was easy to use these observations in my performance. This character comes very easily to me and I really enjoy doing playing this role. Jimmy is involved with different girls and at the same time there is a very heart-warming situation in his life which makes him a very good person.”

He adds, “Actually, I am someone who is not very happy with the kind of social media revolution and the kind of culture that we are getting into, we don't meetup with people and we just digitally connect and emotionally we are disconnecting. We have to strike a proper balance between real emotions and virtual digital emotions. I am not a very big fan of virtual or digital emotions. There are so many hours when I just don't even see my mobile phone. And I am always detached with all these electronic gadgets. I'm always trying to find real, pure emotions.”

The title is his favourite part of the play, says the actor. “The title of this play is Amazing because as human beings we are always expecting more and more and more. We are never satisfied or never happy. We are always striving for more. There is never a time in our lives when we feel we have everything that we need. So Dil Abhi Bhara Nahin is a very truthful title, and I really connect with this title,” he says.
