I saw a news item on one of the hundreds of Tv channels which kept repeating the stories about Hrithik Roshan and his estranged wife Susanne.

The news item screamed about how Susanne had got into an affair with a Tv actor called Krslal Goni who was supposed to be the brother of Aly Goni, best known for some major Tv shows among which was the “Big Boss” show.

The news item talked how the two new lovers had met at an event and how they kept meeting each other and were the talk of gossip mills in the world of television.

If the report is right, I genuinely am concerned about how one or the most beautiful and meaningful relationships is trembling and not holding the sanctity it once had.

If this love story is true, then whatever happened to that other love stories which miraculously happened between a handsome Greek God called Hrithik Roshan who had millions of girls dying to have one glimpse of him and he had made his choice which he believed no power on earth could question.

He opted for his childhood friend Susanne who was the daughter of the one time popular actor Sanjay Khan and lived in a palace called Sanjay House.

Friendship developed into love and the two lovers tied the sacred knot with the approval of their parents who were a combination of Hindus and Muslims.

Hrithik was already a superstar when he married Susanne and all was well with their world. And to add to their joy, they had two handsome sons, Hridhaan and Hrehaan.

It took the lovers 14 years to realize that what they believed was love was not love and decided to separate.

forgetting the glorious past and all the memories they had about their time in the sum when they were madly in love and more importantly forgetting that they had the responsibility to bring up their sons.

The story about planning to separate ended up in the Family Court in Mumbai and after a great deal of legal hassles.

Their marriage of 14 years came to an end with the court deciding that the sons would sometimes live with one parent and sometimes with the other. It looked like another great love story had come to an end.

But The estranged lovers however continued to hog the limelight and the headlines of the media, till the pandemic struck.

And Susanne saw the mother in her waking up and decided to go back to her estranged husband claiming that they were coming together in the interest of their sons.

They have been living under the same roof for the last 8 months and were very good parents to their sons.

But love sometimes can be very strange and even cruel. Hrithik is busy preparing to start work on his father’s sequel to his “Krrish” franchise and the sons are busy studying.

There are so many proposals for Hrithik to marry again, but he seems to be a lover who can never forget his first love.

And what does one say about a beautiful soul like Susanne? Couldn’t she have had some patience?
