SAGARIKA GHATGE WANTS RANBIR KAPOOR TO PLAY ZAHEER KHAN IN BIOPIC

Sagarika Ghatge is popularly known for her role in the movie Chak De! India. The actor got married to cricketer Zaheer Khan. Few months back at an event, Sagarika said that her love for her husband stems from the friendship they share and he is the centre of her world.

"Zaheer is the centre of my world. The love we have for each other stems from a great friendship and a deep connection. And rare Platinum is the perfect expression of the love I feel for my one and only."

When asked about the actor who she wants to play the role of her hubby if ever a biopic was made on Zaheer Khan, Sagarika said that she want Ranbir Kapoor to play Zaheer Khan on-screen.

Sagarika is now all set to return to the big screen in director Milind Ukey’s next, Monsoon Football which is a film about a group of housewives who get together to form a football team.

Talking more about her upcoming movie, she said, "“After Chak De! India I’ve come to be associated with sports films so it’s nice to do one again. I studied in boarding school and played a lot of sports growing up but football was not something I played often. Being a sportsperson, I’m excited to kickstart my training soon.”

Sagarika was last seen in Naseeruddin Shah-starring drama Irada, which released in 2017.
