SAIF ALI KHAN WRITES OPEN LETTER TO APOLOGISE FOR NEPOTISM REMARKS

After Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan publicly apologised to Kangana Ranaut on Twitter for their nepotism remarks during IIFA 2017, Saif Ali Khan has also come out in the open to share his side of the story.

He has penned down his apology in an open letter with DNA, in which he stated that the chant "nepotism rocks" was only meant as a joke. He also wrote that he has apologised to Kangana.

In an interview with Elle, Saif clarifiee that it was all just a joke and nothing more should be read into it.  "But now I feel had we given it more thought, we could’ve really finished this ongoing public discourse on nepotism more decisively,” he had said.

Further, in order to initiate an end to the matter, Saif has decided to stop talking about the subject and has requested everyone to move on so that it doesn’t fuel up anymore. Kangna Ranaut, on the other hand, has not yet responded to the trio's ill-conceived attempt at humour by bringing nepotism and Kangana into their jokes at IIFA.
