SAJID NADIADWALA RUBBISHES THE RUMORS AND SAYS JACQUELINE WILL BE PART OF KICK 2

Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez became a hit jodi in Bollywood when they were first paired in Kick (2014). This Eid, the duo is going to hit the screen with their second film Race 3. It is expected that by the end of 2019, the duo will finish their third movie Kick 2 as well. Earlier when Sajid announced that he would be making a sequel to Kick, there were speculations that there might be no Jackie in this iinstallmen tof the series and Amy Jackson would replace her instead. Now, the producer-director Sajid Nadiadwal has put rest to these rumors.

Sajid told a leading daily, “We had already decided that there would be a sequel. I’ve been writing it for a year now. As I had a lot of other things on my plate, it was taking time. I’ll restart the writing process. We should be ready to roll the movie next year, after Salman finishes all his current films. Kick 2 will release on Christmas 2019.”

Talking about how the rumors developed, he said; “At an event, Salman was handing over the Best Director Award to me and he had said in jest, ‘Kick 2 is ready now, and Jacqueline, you are not there!’ He just joked and news spread that Jackie would be replaced in the film.”

While confirming the presence of Jackie in the movie, he said; “Once I finish penning the script, I’ll be completely sure. But at present, she’s there in what I’m writing. But it’s too early to talk about it.”

It will be a treat for Jacqueline and Salman's fan to see them together for the third time.
