SAKSHI TANWAR HEADS BACK TO THE SMALL SCREEN

After flooring the audiences with her performance in Dangal, actor Sakshi Tanwar is finally gearing up to come full circle and will be soon seen in a new television show. The television star will be returning as the host of an upcoming food show Tyohaar Ki Thali.

The 26-part episodic series will air on EPIC channel soon and will celebrate the diversity of the country by bringing some interesting food stories related to Indian festivals, cultural nuances and traditions. Earlier, Sakshi has hosted television shows like Crime Patrol and Code Red. Sakshi shared her excitement in an interview and said, "As an actor, it excites me to explore different mediums and genres. When the channel’s team approached me, I was highly intrigued with the show’s unique concept”.

EPIC is an infotainment channel best known for shows like Raja, Rasoi Aur Anya Kahaniyaan, Devlok with Devdutt Pattanaik, Jaane Pehchaane with Javed Akhtar and Mid Wicket Tales with Naseeruddin Shah which explore the hidden tales behind Indian culture, traditions, food and cinema.
