“Salman And I Have Been Sharing Ideas But There Is No Film On Cards” Says Farhan Akhtar

Amidst the ongoing rumours regarding his recent meet up with Salman Khan, Farhan Akhtar clarified at a recent event organized by Sony Pictures Sports Network, that it was just a casual meeting with Salman, exchanging ideas and thoughts, and insisted that his fans should not read much into it. Farhan Akhtar , who happens to be the son of lyricist Javed Akhtar who had collaborated with Salman Khan’s father Salim KIhan in penning several iconic films like Shiolay, Deewar, Don Zanjeer etc, mentioned that Salman is an extended family friend, and it was just a chat with no immediate plans for the future to work together. As per latest reports, Farhan is working on ‘Toofan’ under the direction of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Toofan will be a sports biographical film based on the life of a boxer and this will be his second attempt at highlighting the journey of a sportsmen after his success of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Farhan is currently gearing up for his travel to Spain where he will be attending the UEFA champions league as a special guest while also ticking off this experience from his wish-list
