Boney said, “The film was released in 2009 and we started making it in 2007. I was sure this would bring the action back to filmmaking. Because at that time only romantic family dramas were being made and action had disappeared somewhere. As I understand, the biggest joy for the public can be an action film. When I started this film I decided that I would make it and decided to make it only with Salman Khan.”

Went consecutively for three days to Salman Khan

He continued and said, “I asked Salman to watch the original Telugu film. After a lot of effort, I went to him for the third consecutive day and said, Salman, I will never come here again. If you don't like this film, I will never try to offer you another film. You just come and watch this movie.”

The producer further added, “So, he came at 12 in the night to watch it, and when the movie was over, he left without saying anything, went to the car, and just gave me a 'thumbs up' and after that, it was ' ‘Jalwa hin Jalwa’.
