SALMAN KHAN SET TO PROMOTE GOVERNMENT E-CYCLES DRIVE

Earlier this year on World Environment Day, Bollywood's Bhaijaan Salman launched his own line of e-bicycle under his philanthropic brand, Being Human.  Now, the actor is all set to promote government's e-cycle drive. Yes, you read that right, you could soon see Tiger Zinda Hai actor Salman pedalling on the newly-built cycle track on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, promoting a healthy lifestyle as the brand ambassador of the government's initiative to popularise e-cycles.

According to the PM Modi’s cabinet minister  Nitin Gadkari,  "the government wants to encourage cycling as a healthy way of transport. An e-chakra, which comes equipped with a small electric motor, can be used to cover more distance from plain bicycles."

The road transport and highways minister added, "Salman Khan has discussed this issue with me. He is also considering aspects of e-chakra creation. This will create greater awareness among the public."

On the work front, Salman Khan is all geared up for the release of his action-drama flick Tiger Zinda Hai releasing on December 22. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial film also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead role.
