Mumbai Police itself informed the media on Sunday that Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan have received a threatening letter, according to news agency ANI an FIR has been registered against an unknown person in this case at Bandra Police Station and investigation is still on.
According to a report in Times of India, Salim Khan's security personnel had received the letter, the report quoted a police officer as saying , “ Salim Khan was following his morning routine as usual and he went for a walk along with his security personnel, there is a place where he usually takes a break while sitting on a bench and yesterday Letter was kept there."
The report said that the police were informed about the danger in the letter, Since receiving this threatening letter, the police are also examining the CCTV footage installed in the area. Salman's security was beefed up after Lawrence Bishnoi emerged as the prime accused in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. Yesterday on June 5, it had been a whole week since the murder of singer Sidhu Moose Wala, he was murdered on Sunday May 29 and Salman's father also received this threatening letter on Sunday, June 5.
