Now, the latest development to the case is that the superstar has been found guilty and he is convicted by the Jodhpur Court for the 1998 poaching case. Actor Salman Khan has been found guilty in the two-decade-old blackbuck poaching case in which he is accused. The actor could face a jail time of maximum six years. Salman Khan - accused of killing two blackbucks - was facing charges under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act. He allegedly killed the blackbucks in Bhagoda ki Dhani in Mathania village near Jodhpur on the intervening night of October 1-2, 1998, during the shooting of "Hum Saath Saath Hain". The quantum of punishment will be pronounced shortly. Salman Khan's councel HM Saraswat is arguing over the quantum of punishment yet to be pronounced. Saraswat is asking for an early probation on the grounds that no other case is now pending against the actor.
