SALMAN TO REVERT TO THE TITLE KABHI EID KABHI DIWALI FOR BHAIJAAN?

Salman Khan has been advised by his coterie rather seriously to revert to his old title Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali for his new production family drama featuring Salman and Pooja Hegde in the lead- Bhaijaan. Lately, the project was known as Bhaijaan - Jyothi Venkatesh

But with most of the biggies like Lal Singh Chaddha nose diving at the box office and proving to be turnips,close friends have advised Salman to play safe and not to go by the title Bhaijaan as it conveys a very ethnic feeling. Also it has been observed that of late, cultural-specific, community-identifying film titles are being shunned by the audiences.

“The film is about the one-ness of all Indians, irrespective of caste or culture. To call the film by a culture-specific title seems incongruous . The film was originally called Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, and that’s the title that Salman is likely to adhere to,” says a source close to Salman Khan.
