“Sangram, pakka mujhse shaadi karoge, July mein ?,” asks Lock Upp runner-up Payal Rohatgi

Known for her frank opinionated nature, ‘runner-up’, stunning Payal Rohatgi sportingly admits that after being a ‘qaidi’ for 70 days, she and her fiancé (mangetar) Sangram Singh were “very disappointed, but definitely not angry ” when she did not win the Lock Upp ( Season-1) reality OTT game-show on ALTBalaji and MXPlayer - Chaitanya Padukone

Like in movie ‘Baazigar’(1993), where Shah Rukh Khan says, “Haar-kar jeetne-wale ko Baazigar kehte hain’, even “Badass” girl Payal seems to have similar sentiments.

Exudes yoga-enthusiast Payal who wears a radiant-facial glow, “ Yes, its true that I was expecting to win and everyone was quite sure that I would hit it off. But even after emerging the ‘runner-up’, I still feel I am the winner.

Because I have ‘won’ the hearts and loyal love-support of millions of ardent fans and viewers. It was a tough fierce fight to finish, but I am happy I put in my best,” insists ‘go-getter’ Payal who feels that often she is misunderstood. “

That’s because although I am aggressive, outspoken with a bold stance, at heart I am quite sensitive and emotional too and I also genuinely apologize when the situation demands it, ” shares Payal who considers herself a “private person”.

Since Sangram and I have been engaged and spending ‘quality time’ together since past 12 years, we are hoping to get married this year. Already Sangram has declared on social media that he will get married to me closer to his birthday in July this year.

But the media and I will have to keep reminding Sangram of his confirmed marital-date July-wala commitment,” confided the exuberant film actress and TV and OTT star style and fitness-icon Payal Rohatgi at the exclusive late afternoon media-meet at a venue curiously called ‘Jhatka’ at the popular Ramee Guestline Hotel at Juhu.
