Sanjay Chaudhari Of Happu Ki Ultan Paltan Unplugged!

Sanjay Chaudhari, who plays the character of Kamlesh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, is sharing the screen with veteran actor Himani Shivpuri. Sanjay says that he has learnt a lot from the latter. “It's great working with her. I get to learn a lot of things from her. We all have seen her work since we were children so it's like a dream come true working with her,” says Sanjay, who has been seen in shows such as Lapataganj, Chidiya Ghar, Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hain.

Talking about his character in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, he says, “My character’s name is Kamlesh, who is weak in English but always tries to talk in English to impress Katori.  He has a soft corner for Katori but he is annoyed with Happu Singh.”

He adds, “I can relate to the character in the show as I am weak in English too. So, it becomes very easy for me to deliver dialogues in these scenes.The title is unique. Happu Ki family is really Ultan Paltan, each character is unique in itself. So, I think the title is appropriate,” he says.

Sanjay loves working with producers Binaifer and Sanjay Kohli as well. “It's my first show with Edit II. Till now, I have been enjoyed working with them. The team of Edit II is amazing and our needs are well taken care of. Direction and creatives are picture perfect,” he says.  On being asked about his background he says, "My father is a farmer and my mother is a Housewife. I am from Haryana then I went to Delhi for graduation where I did theatre too. Then I came to Mumbai. I have done roles in shows like Lapataganj, Chidiya Ghar, Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hain and many other shows. I have also done a prominent role in Mere Dad Ki Maruti.
