Actress Nargis Fakhri, who was last seen in the 2016 film Banjo, has another interesting project in her kitty. The Rockstar actress will romance Sanjay Dutt in an upcoming action thriller film titled Torbaaz. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, she is flying down from her Los Angeles home to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan to start shooting for her upcoming Bollywood film, Torbaaz.
Written and directed by Girish Malik, who made his debut with the 2014 drama Jal, this film is about child suicide bombers who have been trained to believe that killing is a virtue and glory is in the afterlife. Nargis will be seen essaying the role of an NGO worker, who looks after war refugee kids in Afghanistan, while Sanjay Dutt plays a retired Army office in the movie who wants to give the ‘children of war’ a ray of hope. The film is produced by Raju Chadha and Rahul Mittra.
Earlier Sanjay Dutt said in a statement, "I am keen to be a part of films that are highly content driven. I want to create a memorable slate of films for my fans."
The film went on floors on 10th December and will hit screens in the second half of 2018. The team will commence shooting in Kyrgyzstan.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt has been also signed for Ashutosh Gowariker’s next periodical drama alongside Arjun Kapoor.
