Sanjay Dutt’s Marathi Film BABA to be Screened at the Golden Globes

Sanjay Dutt is on a spree of winning accolade after accolade after the trailer of his Hindi production Prasthanam, a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Prasthanam has was applauded. The latest news is that his maiden production venture in Marathi called BABA starring Deepak Dobriyal, Nandita Patkar, Abhijeet Khandkekar, Spruha Joshi, Chittaranjan Giri,Jaywant Wadkar, Shailesh Datar,Jayant Gadekar and  child artist Aaryan Menghji.“BABA” produced under the banner of Sanjay S Dutt Productions lead by MaanayataDutt& Blue Mustang Creations lead by Ashok & Aarti Subhedar andis now selected for screening at Golden Globes 2020 in the Best Motion Picture in a Foreign Language award category.

After “Bucket List” that was released last year, in continuing with their policy to support new comers, Ashok & Aarti Subhedar of BLUE MUSTANG CREATIONS, selected this story and provided the much needed initial support and worked closely with Raj R Gupta, while giving him freedom that a director needs to bring out the best. The association with Sanjay Dutt Production took it to a Higher Level.The film BABA which has been released all over the country today praised by the critics as a subtle and poignant film that has been painstakingly made by director Raj. R. Gupta with a lot of sensitivity and has also been liked by the audiences. The masses have hailed the film as honest piece of cinematic effort about a deaf & mute couple who in spite of rearing the boy are confronted in the court over its custody by the mother of the child who had deserted him when she delivered him.
