Film director and actor Satish Kaushik has passed away. He was 66 years old, Kaushik reportedly succumbed to a heart attack while traveling in a car. He died due to a heart attack in Delhi. Satish Kaushik has worked in many Hindi films. Anupam Kher informed us about the death of Satish Kaushik.

Anupam Kher tweeted, “I know death is the ultimate truth. But I never dreamed that I would write like this about my friend Satish Kaushik. Friendship of 45 years suddenly broken. Peace”.

Kangana Ranaut said on the death of Satish Kaushik

Ranaut wrote, “Woke up to this horrible news, he was my biggest cheerleader, a very successful actor, and director Satish Kaushik ji personally was also a very kind and genuine man. I loved directing him in Emergency. He will be missed, Om Shanti.” Ranaut and Kaushik feature as former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi and independence activist Jagjivan Ram in the film which will be released in October this year.

He is survived by his wife Shashi and daughter 11-year-old Vanshika Kaushik. His body has been taken to Deendayal Hospital for postmortem and is expected to be handed over to his family at around 3 pm, following which his last rites will be conducted.

Satish Kaushik has played an important role in many Hindi films including Mr. India, Deewana Mastana, Saajan Chale Sasural, and Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi. He has also directed films like Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Prem, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, and Tere Naam. He made his debut in the film industry in 1983 with the film ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’.He is known for his amazing roles like Calendar.
