Mismatched

This light-hearted drama explores the fragility of young relationships. Set in Rajasthan, Mismatched features majestic backdrops given the state’s royal connection.

The Pink City – Jaipur, forms the core of the series, with the camera spanning across a wonderful selection of ancient forts, palaces, bazaars and cafes.

Feels Like Ishq

Six short stories of around 30 minutes about finding love in the unlikeliest of places make up this Netflix anthology series that explores human relationships against a contemporary setting.

The stories have been shot across the country including popular tourist spots such as Goa and Mahabaleshwar. The picturesque villages of Goa alongside quaint houses inspired by Portuguese influences make for a stunning backdrop.

As does Mahabaleshwar’s verdant green landscapes and architecture inspired by a colonial past.

Toolsidas Junior

Toolsidas Junior is a sports drama starring Sanjay Dutt and Rajiv Kapoor in the lead roles. In the film, Toolsidas (Rajiv Kapoor) wants to win a snooker tournament against champion Jimmy Tandon (Dalip Tahhil) as he wants to prove to his son, Toolsidas Junior (master Varun Buddhadev), that he can be a champ.

The film is set in 1994, Calcutta, and captures the charming side of the ‘city of joy’ right from its hustle-bustle replete with trams, the stunning vistas by the Hooghly river and the Victoria Memorial.

Looop Lapeta

Looop Lapeta, an official adaption of the award-winning German film “Run Lola Run” is a must-watch comedy thriller starring Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin.

It features places in, both, North and South Goa, including Old Goa, Chandor, Panaji, etc. If you’re missing the beach, head towards Goa with your pack! It’s time to soak up the sun or indulge in some adventure activities.

Ye Kaali Kaali Ankhein

Ye Kaali Kaali Ankhein is a solid entertainer as it’s full of dark humor mixed with thrilling elements. Its set in the fictional town of Onkara, but shot all over India - from Mumbai to Madhya Pradesh.

Blessed with diverse wildlife and fascinating history, places to visit in Madhya Pradesh are a visual treat for tourists.

The state is known for its vibrant culture and one can witness the splendour of heritage at various places like Rajwada, Madan Mahal Fort, Chhatris, etc.

Aranyak

Set in the picturesque snowcapped hills of Kasauli and Manali, in Himachal Pradesh, mystery thriller Aranyak is a police thriller that traces the lives of two mismatched hill station police officers while they navigate a web of suspects after a puzzling murder.

While Aranyak is set in the fictional town of Sironha, it has been shot across Himachal Pradesh, which lends itself to some spectacular landscapes.

Kasauli’s serene spots, Manali’s snow-capped peak views and little cafes are in the spotlight here.
