BREAKING: SELENA GOMEZ AND THE WEEKND HAVE SPLIT!

The internet went crazy when Selena and Justin Bieber were spotted spending some time together. We were all busy thinking how The Weeknd would react to this news! Apparently, he did and the music's hottest couple have officially broken up! After seeing each other for a little less than a year and having made the world go berserk at the MET Gala, the couple has decided to part ways. While there are a lot of speculations doing the round, it seems like distance did eventually bring trouble in the former couple's paradise. According to sources, Selena did try and attend as many concerts of her now ex-boyfriend while she was busy with work in NYC, but distance did eventually get the better of them.

According to People, “She and Abel have been going back and forth for a few months about their relationship,” said an insider. “It’s been hard with him being on tour and her shooting in New York. That wasn’t easy on them. It’s been hard for them to come to the realization that this is the direction things were heading, but it’s been hard for months,” the source further added. The break-up seemingly has got nothing to do with JB but it's a little hard to believe that and a source told E!news, “Abel is upset about Selena hanging out with Justin, especially twice in the same week.”

This year has indeed been a tough one as Selena had to undergo a kidney transplant surgery and had taken a step back from her career due to her deteriorating health. The couple seemed to have ended the relationship on a good note though as they still are keeping in touch with each other!
