Shaan Shashank Mishra talks about Sindoor Ki Keemat 2!

Shaan Shashank Mishra, who is part of Dangal TV’s Sindoor Ki Keemat 2, says that every character that he has played has been very dear to him. He adds that he has always tried to give his best to every character.

“Every character that I have got to play in my career, I have tried to excel in that. I want to be known by the character that I play, that will be my landmark. It’s a very interesting moment in my life as for the first time I am playing a negative character while I have always played positive characters, he says.”

Ask him what is the best thing about the entertainment industry, and he says, “The best thing about the entertainment industry is that you get to do something new and different every day. You are doing a new story, a new role, you get to live a different story every now and then. People learn from you, idolise you, the industry gives you that, it gives you fans and admirers. This industry also gives you fame, money, success and a glamorous life.”

He adds, “You may have to try different acting styles; at times it may be method acting as a character might be difficult to play, and sometimes very easy. The industry will teach you to become better than yourself and others. The curiosity to learn more and become better will make you a better person. The competition is such that you make a mistake and you lose the opportunity, the competition makes you better and tougher.”

However, working in a daily soap is hectic but fun as well. “The best thing about being in a daily soap is that you become disciplined, you work and you learn a lot in life. You get to make a routine in life and you work every day so it makes you energetic, your determination increases and boredom is no longer a part of your life. You get a peaceful sleep after a hard day's work and you sleep soundly,” he says.
