Shabana Azmi, Vidya Balan Etc To Take Part In The St. Xavier’s College’s 150th Birthday Celebrations

One of India’s foremost educational institutions, St Xavier’s College, over 150 years has given the country innumerable luminaries in the fields of business, media, entertainment, technology, and science and education. To commemorate these 150 glorious years, St. Xavier’s is hosting a gala event at the Cooperage Football Ground on January 3 2019. This will be a Fundraising Alumni Dinner and will bring together alumni across decades, teachers, students and the Jesuit fathers. Alumni from batches of the 1970s to 2018 are fast booking their seats for this delightful evening to reconnect and catch up with their friends and classmates. The alumni, who are also top Businessmen, Bureaucrats, Policy makers, Bankers, Media Honchos and Creative Wizards, will be attending this event. The event programme will feature Shabana Azmi, Vidya Balan, and multiple musicians - prominent alumni who will perform solo, duets and group items. The highlight of the event is a Musical featuring current students, teachers, Jesuits and alumni. Ashish Bhasin, Chairman & CEO- South Asia, Dentsu Aegis Network and an alumnus of St. Xavier’s College said, “This is a great opportunity for all the alumni of this wonderful institution to come together with old friends and kick off the Sesquicentennial Year Celebrations. It is also an opportunity for us to give back to our Alma Mater. I am sure all ex-Xavierites will respond generously.”
