SHAH RUKH KHAN-KAJOL-RANI MUKERJI TO BE IN FIRST EPISODE OF KWK SEASON 6

Koffee With Karan hosted by Karan Johar is one of the juiciest shows of Bollywood where we get to get some inside details and gossips about our favorite celebrities as the stars spill the beans about the controversial and not-so-controversial issues.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the sixth season of the show. There are speculations about who will be the guest in the opening episode. With Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's wedding in December, there was news that the couple might open up Karan Johar's show.

While Karan was excited to host Virushka in the show, work date issues lead to a problem in the arrangement. And this is when Karan's friends came to rescue him.

According to Mid-day, the first guest on the show are likely to be the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai trio- Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. The timing suits the three as the show will roll out in September and will start to air from October, which coincidentally celebrates 20 years of K2H2.

The trio was earlier seen opening season 2 of Koffee With Karan in 2007.

A leading daily quoted a source close to Karan Johar saying; "One may argue that the combination lacks novelty, but it scores on nostalgic value. The line-up is yet to be drawn. It's still in the brainstorming stage. A lot of names are being tossed around and it's too early to say."

It will be fun to see the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai trio back together.
