SHAH RUKH KHAN SLAPPED WITH FINE OF ₹5.59 LAKH IN VARANASI

Shah Rukh Khan was recently in Varanasi with the whole team of Jab Harry Met Sejal for the film’s promotions. The visit was quite a rage with King Khan going all out to impress his co-star Anushka Sharma, Bhojpuri super star Manoj Tiwari and of course the audience. All was well till Varanasi cops issued a notice amounting to Rs 5.59 lakh to the mega star.
According to a report in DNA, the total expenditure for the security employed for SRK during his visit came to Rs 6.11 lakh. However, the Ashoka Institute of Technology and Management, where the event was being hosted, had only paid the police Rs 51,132. In an interview given to the news portal, the organiser of the event said that since the team had stayed at the institute for a little over an hour and only a few personnel were employed, the institute wasn’t liable to pay the police force any more money.
The police force now aims to recover the remaining amount from the megastar himself as they claim that soldiers were employed for his safety and had accompanied him everywhere from the airport to the local areas around the city.
This promotional spree seems to have become a tad more costly for the Baadshah.
