Shah Rukh Khan’s Bday dooriyan iss baar phir bhi Fans ka beyhadh pyaar !?

Ab tak chhappan ! It was Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s (SRK) 56th B’day on Tuesday 2nd November coinciding with shagun Diwali-Dhanteras day - Chaitanya Padukone

In a deviating break from his annual tradition obviously due to son Aryan’s alleged drugs case and the unpleasant legal complications that followed, the media-friendly superstar did not cut his birthday cake along with the film-press-news-media and flock of frenzied fans this year (2021).

Nor did he climb atop his bungalow Mannat’s façade elevated gallery-deck to wave at the massive gathering of fans and well-wishers.

Though loyal fans had been assembling around his Bandra Bandstand bungalow since previous midnight to usher in the superstar’s birthday, they were advised by local cops not to crowd at the venue.

Police officials have also disclosed that Shah Rukh and his family had made their way out-of-Mumbai to their Alibaug farmhouse for a quiet private celebration. Apparently, dad SRK was keen that Aryan spend time away from the city after his release from jail.

It may have been a quiet, peaceful birthday for King Khan. But his film-fraternity well-wishers fondly greeted him on the social media .

Close-buddy-filmmaker Karan Johar wrote, “I met him on the sets of Karan Arjun <1995> for the first time.

I tagged along with my producer father (Yash Johar) to hang out with Kajol. Not realising I was going to meet a man (SRK) who would go on to shape my life, career and my being---a loving brother and an indispensable friend.”

That's what the effervescent Juhi Chawla proved ( without any 'Darr') when for the sake of her close buddy co-actor Shah Rukh Khan, she stood rock-steady as legal 'surety' when his son Aryan was being granted conditional 'bail'.

As is known, dimpled Shah Rukh and affable Juhi go back a long way . Not just as romantic co-stars in a string of Hindi maverick movies like 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman', 'Duplicate' and 'Darr' but SRK-Juhi had also collaborated on a movie production banner ( Dreamz Unlimited) and other sporting cricket-centric ventures.

Later when SRK launched yet another new production banner ( Red Chillies Entertainment) he had hired Juhi's elder brother Bobby Chawla as its CEO. After battling a critical medical condition, young Bobby passed away some years ago and his untimely demise had shocked everyone .One recalls that SRK had rushed to console Bobby's bereaved family and a grieving Juhi and he was with them all thru.

As a senior film-journalist-columnist for newspaper Mid-Day I had the privilege to know and interact quite often with SRK when he had just started his movie-acting career during the early '90s.

Even as a newcomer Shah Rukh-bhai always had that sway-swag backed by his dedicated diligence and enthusiasm-energy and of course his resilience to face and recover from any major crisis.

On his 56th B'Day the ‘Chak De’ movie rugged debonair hero seems all set to bounce back very soon with a Bangg !! Despite all this nightmarish personal crisis that he went thru.

As a doting caring father, SRK lived up to the title of his movie 'Main Hoon Na' even as he (backed by a team of top legal (lawyers) experts), ensured that his son Aryan stepped out of confinement and finally got conditional bail !
