SHAHID KAPOOR TO GET HONOURED FOR 'PADMAAVAT' WITH DADASAHEB PHALKE EXCELLENCE AWARD 2018

Padmaavat helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been a great success on box-office. The performances of lead actors — Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh was appreciated by the audience and critics.

In the row of the announcement of Dada Saheb Phalke Awards, after Ranveer Singh being announced to be awarded for his portrayal of Allaudin Khilji, ShahidKapoor will also receive his first award for his Maharawal Ratan Singh act. The actor will be awarded as the best leading actor  at the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards this year.
