As per the recent reports, makers have postponed the release date of the film, Earlier the movie was all set to release on 14 April 2022 but now it will not be released on the that day, Film critic Taran Adarsh has given this information by tweeting, He wrote " #Xclusiv... BREAKING NEWS... #Jersey POSTPONED by one week... Will arrive in *cinemas* on 22 April 2022... The stakeholders arrived at the decision late last night".

On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay's film ' Beast ' and Yash's film ' KGF Chapter 2 ' are being released on April 13 due to which makers have taken this decision to postponed their movie because they don't want these two films to get clash with Jersey, now the film Jersey will be released on 22 April.
