Shakti Anand Enters Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama

Sony SAB’s well appreciated historical fiction show Tenali Rama is set to bring in a 25 year leap with ‘Tenali Rama- BhaskarAdhyay’. While the show has already taken a 5 year leap, it will now go for a 20 year leap with an even more exciting storyline and some new, celebrated faces too.

With this major leap, well known and popular actor Shakti Anand enters ‘Tenali Rama- BhaskarAdhyay’ as the new King of Vijayanagar, named Balakumaran. While there are some major and shocking events that have taken place in Vijayanagar and the Darbar, it will be interesting to see what Shakti Anand has to bring with the introduction of this royal character of Balakumaran and in Vijayanagar too. His character will convey a mix of emotions as Balakumaran is short-tempered but over-trusting and righteous at the same time.

Sharing more about his excitement to be a part of Tenali Rama, Shakti Anand said,“I am really excited to be a part of this phenomenal show. Tenali Rama has entertained the audience of this country, including kids, with its enlightening storyline. Now that the show is in for a major leap, it is coming with an even more promising script. This role is an interesting one for me as I play the mighty king Krishnadevaraya, who is supposed to have this royal mannerism. I am also thoroughly enjoying working with the entire cast as everyone is extremely talented and supportive. I hope the viewers will appreciate and show some love towards this major change that the show is about to undergo.”
