SHANKAR MAHADEVAN TO PERFORM WITH HIS SONS

Get ready to listen to the father-sons trio for popular show MTV Unplugged.

This musical collaboration is among none other than composer-singer Shankar Mahadevan with his sons Siddharth and Shivam.

Composer-singer Shankar Mahadevan has recently shot for a popular musical show, MTV  Unplugged which will be telecast on MTV India soon. Shankar Mahadevan said in a statement given to media,

"I am glad that my son Siddharth Mahadevan was a part of its wonderful line up in the previous edition. I am happier to be performing with both my sons Siddharth and Shivam Mahadevan for this edition. Looking forward to working our magic and celebrate music as a splendid trio."

Talking about the show Shankar said;

"MTV Unplugged has a history of presenting artists, each of who have a different creative identity which is unique to themselves. This brings a distinctive charm to the show."

While Siddharth was seen on the show in the last season, Shankar and Shivam will be performing for the first time.

Both of his sons made their own marks in the Music Industry. Siddharth is credited with hit song Zinda (Bhaag Milkha Bhaag ) and Nachde Ne Saare (Baar Baar Dekho) and Hulla Re (2 States)  duo with his father. While the younger brother Shivam, 16, sang some songs and popular bhajans like Bande Hain Hum Uske (Dhoom 3) and Bolo Na Bolo.
