The comedy film Sharma Ji Ki Lag Gayi is about Sharmaji (Brijendra Kala) and his beautiful and young wife Shobha (Mugdha Godse) staying in a city in North India. Sharmaji is a professor but he is working as columnist in the newspaper Jhunjhuna which belongs to Murli (Krushna Abhishek), a young and charming guy. Sharmaji's sex solution column becomes very popular and everyone wants his advice including top politicians, cops etc. Murli is very close to Sharmaji and his wife. Sharmaji always thinks everyone is eyeing his biwi Shobha. Lalan (Hemant Pandey) a small gunda in the city meets Shobha in the market. Shobha complains to Sharmaji but he advices her not to mess with gunda but Murli beats Lalan and also puts him behind bar with the help of Inspector Tiwari (Mukesh Tiwari). Shobha is very happy but Sharmaji is very upset. Lalan's mother (Himani Shivpuri) meets Sharmaji and requests him to bail out Lalan. Sharmaji goes to police station but Inspector Tiwari refuses due to pressure from politicians, but Lalan tells Sharmaji that Murli is having an affair with Shobha. The film is a fun ride with lots of turns and twists. The film written and directed by Manoj Sharma and produced by Nilkanth Regmi & Vanshmani Sharma, stars Krushna Abhishek, Mugdha Godse, Brijendra Kala, Mukesh Tiwari, Mushtaq Khan, Himani Shivpuri, Hemant Pandey, Tiku Talsania and Shweta Khanduri
