“She always does very well in ‘two-heroine’ movies,” reacts Chunky Panday after watching star-daughter Ananya Panday perform in ‘Dream Girl 2’--which has Ayushmann K also playing a 'female' role by Chaitanya Padukone

The much-awaited movie Dream Girl 2 a Hindi rollercoaster comedy-drama movie has just released today to encourage audience responses. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, the movie is supposedly a spiritual sequel to the 2019 hit film Dream Girl.

The film Dream Girl 2 stars an ensemble cast featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh and Seema Pahwa.

Interestingly, acclaimed lead actor Aysushmann is 'once again' seen in dual contrast as male and female lead roles of Pooja and Karamveer "Karam" opposite slim-talented model-actress Ananya Panday as ‘Pari’
The crux of the story is that Karam, a small-town boy from Mathura, is struggling every day to pay his father's debt, who has borrowed money from nearly everyone on the planet. On the other hand, he is deeply in love with Pari, whose father has kept the conditions to marry her. To make ends meet, Karam poses as Pooja, and starts dancing at a drinking-bar. That’s when four people chase him for marriage, which creates wild chaos and a comedy of errors.

Popular star-father Chunky Pandey seemed impressed with star-daughter Ananya Panday’s performance in the just released movie ‘Dream Girl 2’ Speaking to me exclusively, the witty Chunky reacted “Honestly, I was quite surprised and also impressed with Ananya’s Braj bhasha accent and charming ethnic yet trendy look. Very different from what I have seen her before. If you observe, Ananya always does very well in a two-heroine film, “ was Chunky’s witty reaction referring to Ayushmann’s role as impersonating-female Pooja in ‘Dream Girl 2. And Chunky is perfectly right because Ananya’s previous super-hit movies ‘Student of the Year 2 , Pati Patni Aur Woh and Gehraiyaan on Amazon Prime Video are all ‘two-heroine’ projects. Does it mean that competition from co-star heroines, brings out the best out of Ananya Panday ?
