The festive season is here! And we can’t keep calm and neither can actress Sheeba Akashdeep. The actress who is currently seen in the show Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, says that she loves the vibe during this time.

“It's a very joyous time for all of us. All Indians happily celebrate festivals all over the world. The festival season kicks in after Shradh and it feels nice and pure. It feels so peaceful, everything becomes positive and the vibrations are just amazing,” she says.

Festive season also brings in a lot of positivity and vibrance, she says, adding, “I feel good from the time Ganpati Bappa comes home. The whole aura and vibrations change in the house. It brings a lot of happiness and peace in your mind.”

Sheeba says that this is the perfect time to spend some moments with your family. “For festivals, the first thing that you need around you is your family and then the closest friends of yours who are like family. When they are all around, your celebration feels complete,” she says.

She adds, “I celebrate every festival with too much fever and enthusiasm. I get into the whole vibe of the festival whether it's Karwa Chauth where I have an annual mehendi party, or it's Ganpati where it's like a wedding atmosphere in my house. In Navratri, I fast and I celebrate the goddess in all her forms. On Diwali, I decorate my house with lights and diyas. How can I not mention Christmas! My husband was born during Christmas, and my whole house is themed in red and white. Basically, I just love festivals!”

Sheeba says that festivals need to be celebrated with our heart. “I think, maybe you are not just prioritising certain things. I feel if somebody is important to me, I'll make the effort and pick up their phone. If you are just like everybody else, then I might just wish you on social media. But, not necessarily, if you are very connected to your roots and your family and friends, I think we all make that extra effort for our loved ones,” she says.
