Sheeba Akashdeep shares how the vision and her devotion for Lord Mahadeva inspired her Trishul tattoo

Fans love Sheeba Akashdeep’s Trishul tattoo. The famous 90s Bollywood film actor reveals that she was not keen on getting inked initially, till a dream that changed things for her. She shares her story.

“I have the tattoo on my upper back, near the shoulder. Everyone has told me good things about the design,” she continues, “I got it done at Circle Tattoo, Dadar, which belongs to Abigail Pande and Sanam Johar (celebrity couple). So I have resisted getting a tattoo for the longest time because I was never sure what I wanted permanently on myself, which I would not regret for a lifetime. And literally around the same time, I got a kind of vision while I was sleeping. The vision was that I want to have a Trishul somewhere on my body. So I took another day or so to think about where I would like it and then I decided I wanted it like an Ashirwad on my upper backside.”  Sheeba admits being scared before taking the leap.

“Just needles freak me out. But I took my friends along with me. Abby, my best friend Sonya and Sonali, everyone went with me to give me moral support and all of them actually got tattoos. So Sonya got a matching tattoo on her upper back. Sonali got Sood written on her body somewhere. They actually helped me with the whole process,” she smiles.

Sheeba feels connected spiritually to Lord Mahadev. “I wanted a symbol of devotion to be my first tattoo. I have not thought about the second one yet, and I know that people say it’s an addiction. I am a newbie and satisfied for now,” she ends.
