Shobhit Attray  who is playing for Chennai Swaggers in Anand Mishra and Ekta Kapoor's BCL share his views on BCL!

Since how many years you are playing BCL?  

It’s been 3 consecutive years I am playing BCL & this year is my fourth.

Which position you will play -allrounder? Bowler, Batsman? 

I am an all-rounder, a left arm medium pacer and a middle order batsman

Do you watch cricket matches as well? 

Yes, I watch all the matches. I have a deep love for cricket since my childhood. Not many know that I wanted to take this sport as a profession and play for our country

Which is your favourite Test matches, One day or T20 matches? 

Test match would be when India defeated Australia after a follow on in EDEN garden where VVS Laxman scored 281 and helped us win the game.

One day would be when India defeated Pakistan in 2011 semi-final World Cup & t 20 would be when India defeated Pakistan and won the first ever t20 championship under MS DHONI

This year Cricket World Cup is also coming what are the chances of India this time? 

The chances are bright for sure we have a fantastic side and a great leader and a great leader Virat Kohli. We are hoping to lift the trophy once again in England

How you are preparing for BCL? 

I am practising hard right from bowling to batting each day since I m leading the team too hence I m hoping to win the tournament for my team.

BCL is a perfect combination of glamour and entertainment what is your take on that. 

It’s an entertaining game hence understandable glamour quotient shall be there. We all enjoy it.

BCL is famous for controversies. What is your take on that? 

I am usually not a part of these controversies and truly avoid them. I m here for cricket and chilling with friends.

The youth loved BCL last year on MTV. The youth audiences loved it. Comment.

What are your expectations from BCL this year?

Style, cricket, glamour and entertainment
