The Last Coffee, a movie that sees Ankita Lokhande and Shoib Nikash Shah in leading roles, the film is released and it might just have everyone gushing over them and how. Interestingly, he has also directed the film along with acting in it. The movie is produced by Rahat Kazmi, Raj Kushwaha and Sakshi Seth.

The movie takes you through the story of how a couple meets for their last cup of coffee before they finalise their divorce but they end up getting stuck owing to snowfall. What follows is a masterclass on how communication can solve everything and if its over a cup of coffee, nothing like it.

With the film, he has directed Ankita while also being her co-star. Ask him about the collaboration and he said, "She is a thorough professional and a very nice actor. She understood the character easily and I still remember how she managed to give away the best takes with an effortless performance. I guess that's what it means to be such a seasoned actor."

Ask him about a memorable scene from the shoot and he recalls shooting for this 6 minute scene for an hour. He said, "There was this scene of Ankita and I which was of 6 minutes and I wanted it to be a one take scene. I was looking at just getting that shot for that day and we took 4 takes, of which 3 were okay. We took about an hour to get that scene right and it was fantastic, unforgettable, and one of the most beautiful scenes of the film."

Ankita during the trailer launch, also opened up on her experience on sets with Shoib. She said, "He is the director and the lead actor.I had heard about him a lot. He did films before. He is very humble and understanding. He is also a writer. All shayaris used in our film are by him. I was delighted to work with him. You like to work with such people. Sone pe suhaga (cherry on top) I got a chance to shoot in Patnitop. It was covered in snow and so beautiful, I can’t even tell you".

Among other things, he also spoke about how it was challenging to shoot the film in snow with minus temperatures and how roads were not working and they reached the location with a do or die situation. As for his upcoming projects, he is currently gearing up for Country of Blind's release, which features Hina Khan. The film is released and has been receiving incredible response from the audience. The fans have been loving the film and their onscreen chemistry.
