As a matter of fact, in any individual’s life in general, parents always serve as role models to their children and it is also a known fact that parenting has also differed sharply from the past. Likewise as the children grow up, there is a distant relationship between the parents and the children. In recent years, the relationship between parents and children has profoundly changed. Most of the new generation youngsters hardly find time for their parents and don’t look after their needs during their old age. Young and talented filmmaker Sammir I. Patel has made a short film on this subject.

Pfa: love mom & dad is a lovely emotion- extracting 15 minute long short film, which sets out to display at length the constructive relation between a son and his handicapped father. The father’s role has been played with aplomb by actor Yusuf Husain, who has earlier acted in movies like "Krrish 3" and "OMG: Oh My God!” The eager son’s role is played by young actor Rishi Saxena, who cares a lot for his dear father. He transforms his house into a hotel, cinema auditorium and whatsoever according to the mood and requirement in his attempt to keep his father absorbed and happy. Rishi Saxena endears the viewers with his characterization of the vulnerable young son who does not want his invalid father to be unhappy even for a minute.

It is an emotional film and an eye-opener for today’s generation which has not only been written and produced but also directed by Sammir Patel who has acted in various television serials like Ehsaas, Mr And Mrs Verma Ki Rasoi, Noorjehan etc. He has also acted in Hindi comedies like Life is Beautifool, Jo Khaye So Pachataye Aur Jo Naa Khaye So Pachtaye, etc.
